Linda Miller, 62, died peacefully in her idling Honda CR-V on Sunday morning, succumbing to the passage of time while waiting for her family to exit the house. A lifelong pioneer of aggressive punctuality, Miller held the neighborhood record for standing by the front door, sighing heavily with her purse on her shoulder, a full 45 minutes before any scheduled departure.
Her crowning achievement occurred in 2019, when she successfully navigated a family of five to a Delta departure gate four hours before a domestic flight to Orlando.
She never once turned the car off to come back inside and rush us, which was her quiet way of showing she cared.
