However, internal tracking documents reviewed by reporters indicate a steep drop-off in enrollment during the application’s third phase, which requires applicants to list any family members currently employed by the Department of Justice and formally sign away their likeness rights in perpetuity.
The president wants every American child to have a strong financial foundation, provided they can demonstrate absolute loyalty and no prior association with federal prosecutors.
A senior aide, speaking on background, acknowledged that the rollout has faced messaging challenges, particularly concerning the mandatory portfolio allocation. Under the current rules, the initial $1,000 grant cannot be placed in a standard index fund or high-yield savings account, but must be immediately invested in a pre-approved portfolio consisting entirely of Truth Social stock, commemorative silver coins, and digital trading cards.
Sources close to leadership indicated the administration is working to streamline the optics of the application process, floating a proposal to waive the notarized statement condemning the 2020 election for infants under six months of age. The caucus has already walked back an earlier provision that would have allowed the administration to automatically withdraw the principal to cover the president's legal fees and civil judgments.
