Three of the subjects have prior exposure to orbital microgravity, while the fourth served as a backup on Artemis II, providing a diverse baseline for the deep-space isolation study.
"We are gathering unprecedented data on how a multi-generational cohort of male test subjects operates when placed in a 380-cubic-foot aluminum tube and fired at the moon," said lead mission investigator Dr. Elias Vance.
